If you watch the news or CNBC or any of those other crapfests, they will tell you repeatedly the sky is falling and the economy is crashing and yadda yadda yadda, but the reality is, the stock market is doing great if you invest in great companies.

I currently own 5 total stocks, Apple (AAPL), Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B), Disney (DIS), World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Zynga (ZNGA).  That's it.  I'm up 21%.  It's not rocket science.

Now, WWE and Zynga are my 'risky' stocks and I have quite a bit less invested in them, however I don't think I'm at much risk at all with Apple, Berkshire and Disney.  They have great prospects going forward.

So, I think the big moral to this story is, if you invest in great companies when their prices are low and hang on to them (or use my app and go in and out of them to build cash and build up shares), you'll be fine no matter what the economy is doing.
